Lockheed C-130 Hercules (93-7311)
A Nevada Air Guard "High Rollers" C-130H Hercules (93-7311, 152nd AW) passes directly between my spotting position on Rattlesnake Mountain and the Peppermill Casino as it climbs away from runway 16R in this photo taken last month.

Those colorful leaves on the trees in the background are gone now and with last nights snowfall on the Truckee Meadows valley floor the background as of this morning is pure white.
Another great shot, Gary!
perfect Gary!!
Nice shot Gary!
Greg and Uwe ... Howdy and Thank You to both of you. Leland ... Hey, how have you been? Thanks for commenting. A couple of us are knocking around the idea of a road trip (next summer) up to your neck of the woods. I am on a road trip next week thru southern CA and another one to Gregs turf in Arizona is being firmed up for next spring, so summer is the most convenient time. Nothing definite yet, merely an idea, but if we do put a trip together, any chance we can meet up with you? I would enjoy it and you would like the others. ??
WOW I can almost see what type of sunglasses the Pilot is wearing! Rattlesnake Hill has got to be on your mind daily - what a great vantage point. I can see it now, Gman lead tours up to RH starting at 0545am.....LOL last time I was at Peppermill there was no huge parking structure. On the tail, the Dahls sheep is reminiscient of Gman climbing Rattlesnake Hill.....this is now your Official aircraft.....5***** climber..
