Lockheed F-16 Fighting Falcon —
Thunderbirds One and Two making a low pass and straight-up climb as they come by the Control Tower while preparing to land at Reno Tahoe International.

In previous years, whenever the team landed at RNO, they would come past in a low five-ship formation. This time, only these two came past. The rest of the team had landed separately about 6 or 7 minutes earlier.
Nice job, Gary!
TYVM, Greg. (Wave) I always go to RNO to get some closeup shots when the Thunderbirds perform at RTS ... because the Thunderbirds never land at RTS; they perform OVER RTS but they land at RNO. Many people believe the reason they land at RNO is because the NevANG ramp is there, but that is not why they won't land at RTS. The reason is because the Thunderbirds are flying F-16s. The Blue Angels, on the other hand, DO land at RTS ... because they are flying F-18s. So when the Blue Angels perform at RTS, I go there to get my closeups as they land and take off.
