BOEING 777-300ER (ZK-OKQ)
It was late morning so the sun was shining down quite strongly when ANZ's black-liveried ZK-OKQ arrived from Auckland (NZAA). This was my first-ever capture of an Air New Zealand fleetbird and it occurred just an hour after my catch of Qantas's "Waltzing Matilda" B789 (which was my first-ever snap of a Qantas fleet paxbird).

You spotters living in LA are awesome fortunate! During our visit of several days to your "home grounds," we saw a fantastic array of airlines and aircraft. I'm already super stoked about getting back there again in May. Hopefully, I'll get to meet a few of you. In the meantime, keep those camera shutters clickin'. (Wave to all LAX camera jockeys.)

Yeah man! Down Unda. Nice shot - LAX rules on the west coast heavies..did you ever make it out to the Imperial Terminal Lot before it was closed mid 90s?
