Now that's a real glass cockpit!
Great shot of the third pilot/flight engineer position. "Flying Sideways". FE was a "peach" of an assignment for an enlisted man.
Thortelde.....
I recognize the cockpit as a C-97 Stratofreighter. There is a Stratofreighter in Dodgeville, WI (close to Madison, Wisconsin USA) privately owned that I have been in half a dozen times.
Awesome photo

Was in #3 of a formation of Creek Party KC-97s leaving the Azores in early 70s. We stayed together for about an hour headed for Rhein Main. This was my view point.
Analog paradise.
No "1's or 0's" anywhere to be seen. Back when you NEEDED an engineer on board!
I have nothing but respect for some friends who have now passed . . .

Ole Shaky.
And I thought having 340+ knobs, switches and C/Bs to look after in the A-6 was cool....
On the HC-97; off camera to left near navigator's table is stack of three (or four) 1960s Mark X under-dash automotive A/C units supplied by large compressor/large tank of Freon just outside cockpit door. And just to nitpick, standby compass will read incorrectly with radar indicator in unstowed position as shown.
Super Cockpit!
