McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom 2 (72-1494)

Since it’s a cold & rainy day in Cleveland today I thought I’d dig through my archives and post some shots of my days at Hopkins and Burke Lakefront Airports. Here are a series of shots of a USAF QF-4E Phantom II returning to CLE on 2 Sep 2011 after a practice performance at BKL before the 2011 Cleveland National Air Show. The Phantom II, then assigned to the 82nd Aerial Targets Squadron, 53rd Weapons Evaluation Group, Tyndall AFB, FL, deployed his drag-chute on RWY 6R and taxied to park at Atlantic Aviation.
