Wow cool
Excellent capture of the cockpit of an Antonov AN-124! This is something that isn't seen everyday. Nice shot and catch, Ed!
Good shot of cockpit. thanks.
There's a lot more to the Ruslan cockpit than this. Check this out: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antonov_An-124_Ruslan#/media/File:Polet_Antonov_An-124_cockpit_Pashnin.jpg
Very nice cockpit photo Ed.
Unique Flightaware shot.
Unique Flightaware shot.
Love the fans.
@Alan Hume thanks for the link to the full cockpit. Makes sense that, as vintage and manual as this design is, it'd have more work than 2 pilots would want to handle. Reminds me more of the 727's and DC-9's that I was a passenger in when you look at the whole picture, though the 124's 4th, 5yh, and 6th seats are more mission/cargo related?
Cockpit instrumentation needs - just a little - updating.
Thanks for the link to the full cockpit. That is also a great shot.
I like this "swiming pool" color in the cockpit :o)
Worked for Boeing Flight Safety doing manuals for the 767-400 'all glass cockpit' - spent lots of time in the simulators. Wonderful assignment. All I can say looking at the AN-124 flightdeck is OMG those pilots really had to fly their machine. Wow!
