Boeing 747-400 (N127UA)

KSFO Feb 14, 2005 looking at Intl Terminal G gates - long before the A380s showed up at San Francisco. This jet Cn 28813 Ln: 1221 flew it's entire airline service with United- now stored 2017. UAL 747-400s were a dime a dozen at SFO but always worth a photo! Side note, if you look along the right side of the photo you'll see a parking structure with the circular ramps - that has been extended to public long term parking now with added floors that jut out west offering views of the 28LR arrival/departure runways and great for PM photography, or just pay the fee and sit and watch from your car. To the left of that parking structure, is the Best Western Grosvenor Hotel, where I help run the SFO Airline Collectible Show(FB). We've been at this Hotel for almost 10-15 years I can't remember exactly - overall 32 years total near SFO...but is very popular w/show attendees as so close to SFO..many hours at the show hunting airline collectibles, and still the rest of the day for photos and airport viewing. But of course the September 26, 2020 we had to cancel for Covid 19 issues. Next Show is March 2021,,,we'll see how fast the vaccine is found after the election depending on who wins...Funny how small the other 747-400 looks facing the camera off to the right gate.
