Lockheed T-33 Shooting Star (FEG610)

Beautiful aircraft! I saw one of these at Brunswick Naval Air Station, along with the Thunderbirds. Brought me to tears when I saw this flying. So majestic.

We had a squadron of these at Clark AB, Philippines, back in the 80s, I kind of took them for granted because we also had RF-4s, which was one of my favorites. But this... is a really pretty little airplane, and historic as well! Great photo!

Got stuck in the back seat of one of those things. Doing mainentenance on it, started to rain, closed the canopy down some and wouldn't open again when I got done. Same thing happened to me in it's cousin the T-1A. Guys just kept walking by and waved as I tried to get their attention. Botlh times my supervisor came looking for me wondering what was taking so long.

I used to see these at McConnell AFB in Wichita back in the 50a (I think). It still a beautiful airplane.
