Piper 108 Voyager (N8599K)
Comments
The a/c in the foreground is a Stinson 108-1; the one in the back is a Glasair Sportsman.
Ah the Creek... The Stinson is "Tootsie" and the Glasair "Goofy"
My dear friend Tom owned a Stinson just like the one you see here.
Remembering the Franklin engine it still was a nice all around
airplane. He let me fly it one day and let me tell you the Stinson
108 Voyager was also forgiving for me anyway. I think because
Stinson made em a tiny bit heavier plus the Franklin was 150 hp!!
