Tupolev Tu-134 (P-813)

The national airline of North Korea. Apparently taken at Pyongyang. If the NK Government knew of the photo before it was published the photographer might well have good to a labor camp.

Paul Wisgerhof. you have the wrong impression. Yes, this photo was taken at Pyongyang. I was free to take photo of any civil aircraft.

Old Russian design, I wonder how you get parts for these obsolete planes, make them as you need them?

Think the guy in the picture has it right , , , "at least it is a good source of shade". Fly, , , not so sure"

Is that a second -134 further down the line? Perhaps the 'replacement department' for 813? Hope to see some more images you might have made. Were you in an aircraft when this shot was made?

This photo was taken in 2014 during a DPRK aviation tour. I took this photo from the tarmac (actually the taxiway) waiting for the bus taking us to the terminal in the background. The new terminal building and tarmac were still under construction at that time.
