07 Aug 2023 am saddened to hear of the loss of the three crew members and this aircraft while fighting a fire in California yesterday. I believe the helicopter was acting as an observer and not sure why, as an observer, it was at such a low altitude that it was involved in a mid-air collision with the Sikorsky Skycrane helicopter which was dumping either retardant or water on the fire. I am sure the NTSB will render its initial finding's report quickly.
