Nice shot! Cadillac of the skies! LOL I was just telling someone the other day, there's no mistaking the sound of a Merlin V-12 and then I heard one pass overhead yesterday. I didn't even need to go look.

Ya me2 I heard a Merlin coming out of KLVK Thursday AM just a silver spot when I found it.

I was a radar tech on the AVRO Lancaster in the R.C.A.F. in the 50's, 24 exhaust ports pointed at the fuselage, loud. Still love the sound of the Merlins.

Great example of Anglo American cooperation.
