Awesome photo.
I retired from Aviation after 20 years a few years back and still say not one airplane built after the Boeing 727 is anywhere near as beautiful.I during that time with our FBO had the privilege through contract work to work with both UPS and FED - X during the span of time that they used their 727s . Whether it was watching them land in the morning or watching them depart each night it was always a spectacular site. They have been replaced now with newer more fuel efficient and quieter aircraft and will always be missed.( by me anyways )

I'm so used to planes with winglets now, it's odd seeing an airliner without them!
The three-holer has always been my favorite aircraft even though most of my time is in helicopters. Three cheers!
I see one of these flying over my house quite regularly, two of these are based at Doncaster near where I live for Oil spill response. G-OSRA and G-OSRB are apparently stationed at Robin Hood Airport in Doncaster, UK. They belong I think to Excel Aviation and look quite beautiful & well maintained but with a slightly unusual engine note as they have older engines.
