Yes, the Lake Hood Seaplane Base is in Anchorage, Alaska. But it is not co-located with Anchorage International and the airport designation is PALH.

Nice action pic! Love to spend a day at the Lake Hood Seaplane Base seeing takeoffs and landings. Wouldn't mind being a passenger on this very kewl DeHavilland either!

Thought for a minute this was Kenwood Air at the top of Lake Washington, but then I saw the bigger picture and noticed the Jim Air sign.

Sorry to bring this news, but on July 18. 2018, the aircraft was destroyed near Anchorage. It was on a Part 135 flight carrying a lady and her 2 1/2 year old child.
