If I had become an Air Force pilot, I think this is the plane I would have liked to fly. They've always been one of my favorites.
I agree Robert. Everyone calls this an ugly airplane, but it is one my favorites too.
Great close support aircraft.
This is an Idaho National Guard unit flying the warthogs. Watched them while on a layover at Boise Airport in 2011. They are such a great ground attack aircraft.
One of my favorite aircraft
Last of the true Stick & Rudder planes.
Yep, me too, great aircraft.
Great detailed shot, look at how clean that plane is on the bottom! A masterful photo for anyone interested in detailing the bottom of a model of the A-10. Gotta love that blue Idaho sky too.
Loaded for bear.
I really miss watching these planes practice at the Hardwood Bombing Range outside of Babcock Wisconsin. Just amazing.
This Warthog was purpose built for close air support and this photo shows why it is perfect for this role. Long live the A-10!
A-10C
My friends call me strange, but this craft is at the top of my list just behind the A-10 Warthog.
This is an A10 Warthog
