Boeing 737-200 (C-GXNR)

Nice catch ! love the old metal. We just had a B727 visit Logan. N30MP.

What is hanging just below and fwd of both engines? Also the nose wheel door attached at the nose wheel axel. Don't know I've ever seen that on a 737.

Gravel Kit, with engine intake vortex eliminators. Nose gear has gravel delector. From the registration, this is possibly an old Nordair machine I use to ride on going to Fort Chimo/Kuujjuak in the mid 80s

Refer to this site for the history of the plane. It is a 38 yo plane, and Fedex used it first.

What the hell is all the info on the 727? Can't you read, it's a 737-200. An old bird that's about to fall out of the sky!

I never thought that John Marotta had mis-identified the Boeing in this photo. I am of the opinion that he was merely mentioning the fact that a B727 had also visited Boston's Logan International Airport. Note his "old metal" comment. He has uploaded quite a number of quality photos and seems to be knowledgeable regarding aircraft types.
