I finally found this place. Using a tree to keep me steady with the long sense. Nice shot. You'r is so clear, do you have any idea why the quality on this site is not as good as the originals?? Yours look fantastic!

Thanks for the comments and thanks for answering the questions John, this is a pretty good spot for 24R landings, I'll keep an eye out for the guy with his lens in a tree! I tend to overexpose a little to compensate for whatever light we end up having. You are right though, my pics seem soft when uploaded here, they look completely different on my computer screen, I often wonder what others see. I upload large images (between 5 and 10 megapixels)and I wonder if that has something to do with it, next batch will be smaller image size. I wonder if Flightaware compresses or adds sharpening to the images as they are uploaded? Hope to see you around....

Me and a friend just found this spot, do you have to park at the trail head parking lot then walk out to the hill? We were going to try it but the day we were out it was -8 with a sharp wind and didnt want to be far from the car

Hey, thanks Karter, no I usually park right in the Hertz employee parking area as do many other spotters. Never had any trouble there yet. I was there one morning and it was minus 16, so I know how you feel! Korean Cargo comes in most Sunday's now.

We'll be trying it out soon, and yeaa thats some dedication but thats YYZ spotting haha
