Boeing 757-200 (EI-LBR)

Another great shot, Mark! Seen at the top of the page in the Daily Newsletter!
great livery
bet boeing could sell a few of these if the assembly line was reopened. It has the transatlantic range that allows second-tier cities on both sides of the atlantic to generate full cabins coming and going. If this magnificent aircraft got new engines, with greater fuel efficiencies, what is stopping this? This is a classic aircraft that stays around because it is ideal for 6 hour flights and 2 hour flights.pilots and paying passengers love it. There is not much being said about a 757 foll0wup design, maybe because it is hard to make a clean paper critter for less than a few billion.
I wish Patrick! I think Boeing to trying to have the 737-900 bridge the market segment gap with the 787. The gap where the 757 is. In their mind, opening the 757 line might divert sales from their 737-900 or 787. I don't agree with this and I don't think airlines do either as evidenced by airlines replacing 757s with A321s. Would love to see the 757 make a come back. I'm not holding my breath though.
