Delta brings Boeing's smallest jet back to Sea-Tac after six-year absence
After a six-year gap, Boeing's smallest commercial aircraft, the 717, will be returning to commercial service at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. The two-engine regional jets, which are even smaller than a Boeing 737, were a holdover from the 1997 merger of the Boeing Co. and the former McDonnell Douglas Corp. They were essentially a rename of the McDonnell Douglas MD-95, which was in turn an upgraded version of the DC-9. (www.bizjournals.com) Más...Sort type: [Top] [Newest]
The 717 is not a regional jet. It is a single-aisle mainline airplane, just like the 737.
