Airline Nonsense From the Huffington Post

Whenever you see the words “alarming secrets” and “airline” in the same headline, you’d better break out the B.S. detector. Case in point, a recent piece from Huffington Post: “16 Alarming Secrets That Will Change How You Feel About Flying.” Read this critique, and let the HuffPo editors know how you feel...! I posted that very huffpo link here (ironically after getting that huffpo story from a non-aviator on Facebook).

While many 'secrets' seemed legit, many were consistent with Patricks and other airline professionals previous writings. Not all seemed of the sane reliability.

I posted the link here to get a better aviation perspective on the 'secrets shared'.

Thanks Patrick for making an effort to get better information about aviation out there to all including non aviators.

They, like MSN, Fudge and Wahoo don't write their articles. They are not journalists. Cut-copy-paste is their motto.

As a retired comml pilot the only thing in the article that I may have done was to authorize a cabin attendant to place child to first class, if a seat was available and before pushback.
