I have to agree. You made a choice and now you want special consideration for that choice! This is what maternity leave is all about. Now the gals force the airlines to let them fly right up, until they pop the kid out. Airlines run a business not a day care center. Remember, it is always easier to cash the pay " cheque" than it is to write it.
Correct. Everybody cannot do everything and need to accept choices need to be made and then live with them. WAAAAAAHHHH! Never heard of formula?
ever hear of "Breast is best?"
I gotta agree on that part...
Of course. Please see "HF1950" comments above.
Oh, yeah, that's right, we need to go back to that Leave it to Beaver lifestyle. Women are only good for sammich and baby makin'!
Don't leave out dusting, that's important too!!!
Take a look around globally and it becomes readily apparent to most people with an Intelligence Quotient above 80 that maybe those times weren't so bad after all! The airlines have been fighting a losing battle from the beginning. Most customer service, SOC, reservations were mostly staffed by women. Now if you take an airline with 40,000 emplyees on the ground representing a female 40% or more and 10,000 in the air with 5% being female ( personally I think it should be more) and then you have to cover sick days, vacation and maternity leave with addititional staff., you would have to hire an addititional 20 % staff just to cover.( that's why they always short staffed on the ground) In the air, try and substitute 5% or roughly 500 additional pilots for temporary positions. Airlines do not hire temp pilots!
CUT THE DAMN WHINING AND ENTITLEMENT OUT!!!
