Fly Dubai Boeing 737-800 Crashes in Russia
A Boeing 738 passenger jet crashed as it was landing at the Rostov-on-Don airport in southern Russia, the country's Southern Regional Emergency Center said Saturday. The plane, which had traveled from Dubai, had 55 people aboard, the Emergency Center said. It wasn't immediately clear if there were any survivors. Developing story - more to come (www.cnn.com) Más...Sort type: [Top] [Newest]
Before you publish articles like this, check at least, media reports. The plane did not clipped the ground. It went into a free fall after pilots aborted the second landing and started climbing up. At some point they lost control of the plane and it went down into the death spiral and could not make out of it. Pilot error most likely. See what was caught on the camera here (http://www.ntv.ru/novosti/1615500).
You realize this site doesn't publish any articles, right? And that the articles that are linked here are just that, links to articles posted on OTHER sites, usually where they originated? So you admonishing this site not to publish whatever article you're going on about is rather pointless.
Amen Bernie..and I would say the plane did clip the ground at an incredible rate of speed and angle
Easy big fella. People can only post what's being reported.

The dreaded words..."Don't do that".
This is interesting. I assume the fin stabilizer is elevator trim? Had the trim run away prior to AP disc? I haven't seen anything that would lead one to conclude severe icing was involved though a tail stall could explain part of this. I know that the 37 has had previous problems with rudder valves moving to the hard stop but last I read, this problem had been solved? At go around PNF appeared to be reasonably calm so whatever unfolded, likely happen very quickly and apparently unexpectedly. How they reacted to the situation as it unfolded might have fatigue as one of the causes. whether the fatigue can be attributed to their previous duty schedule or just the stress of the last couple hours will be hard to say with any degree of certainty.
