Where was this snapped?

By the colour of the sky, i'm assuming either Mackay or Townsville. It's got the mid qld east coast colour about it.

Hi Cameron, sorry I missed your question. It is in fact Townsville. During winter the skies often become a deep saturated blue, with a lower sun, and the air is crystal clear. I would have desaturated the blue channel in Photoshop CC6, if I had the software at the time I edited this shot, for me it is a bit too vivid for my liking.

Bit late to reply myself, but it's a good shot!! Too bad the pilot didn't clean the soot trails off in the underwing ;-)
