When spotting at DSM trying out a new spot, I was granted the present surprise of seeing a Mississippi Air National Guard 186th Air Refueling Wing KC-135R Stratotanker! Photo taken August 14, 2021 at 3:44 PM with Nikon D3200 at 250mm.

it is that season of the year where many Air National Guard units do their one a year two week training meaning there are many opportunities to see aircraft one would not normally see such as this Mississippi Air National Guard 186th Air Refueling Wing KC-135R seen in Des Moines, Iowa on approach to Runway 5 doing some touch and goes/
