Airbus A320 (N640JB)

I know it's been a really rough year for the airline industry, but perhaps JBU should either paint this or park it until they are able to paint it. As the travelling public once again takes to the skies and the airlines respond by jacking their rates back thru the roof, the way to get folks to buy expensive tickets is not by wheeling this up to their gate. Although missing paint in no way endangers the flying capability of a jet, the impression might come across that a plane that looks like this on the outside where the public can see it just might have even more serious faults on the inside where the public cannot see them. There's an old saying: if it looks like sh_t, don't step in it. Paint it or park it, JB.

Hi Gary! Been doing ok here. Planning on being on FA more often these days. :-)

You haven't missed very much. Gavin and several others have (pretty much) stopped contributing as the site has increasingly featured contributors including business ads in their remarks (with their posts - one guy promotes himself as a realtor, another advertises his restaurant), pics with no aircraft in them (ie: family BBQ shots, etc), toy models, etc., etc. More and more, it's kiddies now. There are still a few quality contributors (rwb in San Antone, Ken in Wisc., Darryl in BOS, John G,) but John M in Boston actually removed his real name to disguise his identity - he only uses his initials now - others have done that, too, Gavin has moved on and others. Lotsa crap being posted -- check out the recent photobomb posts from RNO - (I DID meet one guy here who knows his stuff but he doesn't post on FA). There was even a porn post that stayed up for several hours (gone now so someone must have told FA about it - imagine that - FA doesn't even delete porn unless someone complains). I still post but only for one purpose: I'll e/m and bring you up to speed. (Wave)

Wow!! Sounds like I need to start posting! I'm glad you and most of the FA vets are still around. These days, i'm not far from the approach/departure end of Seymour Johnson AFB. F-15 Strike Eagles, KC-135 and the occasional KC-46 overhead!:-) I just have to start snapping and posting!:-) Take care
