I am think about getting a teleconverter. Does it work? Does it work with autofocus I would like EVERYONE's advice. Nice shot Warmwyds! 5*!

It is best that you Google what you are looking for as you will find many sources to describe the pros and cons of a teleconverter including advice from some video sources on the subject.

I use a fixed lens camera with 18 megs that has a zoom out to 1200mm. It is a Panasonic Lumix FZ80. Not the best imaging sensor size that you will as in the better cameras but you can't beat the features for under $300. Clear skies............

a teleconverters typically expand by 2x which means only 1/4 of the light gets to the image area. Everything else works per normal. Back in the day of film, you could "push" the development to compensate. With digital, just increase the ISO by 2x and it should work out fine.
