There was about 10 cm or 4 inches between them and the seatback. This and the wide aisle made for easy loading and unloading of the self-loading cargo.

That's what I thought PSBJ, especially considering that Lufthansa crams 12 more seats into the plane with the switchover to slimeline seats. We were stuck in Bucarest because of the Air France strike and were put on Lufthansa to get home via Munich. I was certain the first leg would be 1h40min of torture, but this was definitively not the case.
