Are we going to have to start harassing Chinese aircraft anywhere they choose to fly? Seems China won't learn the lesson the easy way, maybe it's time to teach it to them the hard way.

HR McMaster, one of Donald Trump’s former national security advisers, has condemned the deal struck with the Taliban during the previous administration as a “surrender agreement”.

“Our secretary of state [Mike Pompeo] signed a surrender agreement with the Taliban,” Mr McMaster said on Bari Weiss’ podcast Honestly.

“This collapse goes back to the capitulation agreement of 2020. The Taliban didn’t defeat us. We defeated ourselves.”

The retired US Army lieutenant general is one of many former senior Trump officials who have sought to distance themselves from the Taliban peace deal that was signed in February 2020, as chaos gripped the capital Kabul over the past week

Back when I was flying as a pilot on the Asian routes from Japan all the way down to Singapore, I would notice the small atolls enroute. Over the years I kept seeing some of them keep getting larger. Having been a former Navy pilot too, I pretty much figured out what was going on, but I never heard any big complaints happening. Now it's too late because the Chinese have built them and will protect these renegade islands. Give the Chinese an inch and they will take a mile, especially with Xi Jinping running things. Seems like pre-war Germany tactics all over again.
Maybe some of the countries involved should have just anchored some military ships near them to scare off the Chinese from getting a foothold in doing this. Nice big Navy carrier circling an atoll
would have worked well enough. 🙀🤨

F-4 pilots used "graped" in NAM it was a common occurrence. Made it tough flying ground support for troops when they needed us most to drop cover ordinance.

Old Military terms, we used to call out just got graped, raspberried (usually the Navy used it,) strawberried etc... meaning we were jammed by hostiles. Not sure how old silent bob is but during the NAM years we used the old Korean war languages. When the secure radios came on line around the mids 80s we no longer needed to talk code.

All Airlines Aircraft’s are “ monitored “closely by Aircraft’s carriers and and other military installations on the ground.
They know their locations, which routes there are taking and their destinations.
They may fear that aircrafts are taking pictures or passing on other information to others .

Korean and I know Chinese pilots are trained in the military service then recruited to the civilian business world.Of course they hold military credentials, but they are civilian.. I know because I flew for the China Airline. If you track the Korean you will see that they were following INS in puts to auto pilot and the last way point put in was Kimpo. I suggest the cause was inattention to way point insertion and sleep in cockpit The Russians are very touchey and the big area commander gave the order to shoot. NOT THE PILOT.

how ridiculous this news seems to be, China's military warships absolutely has the right to inspect every craft over south China sea. at least they did not did it in the Australian coastal areas.
