Imagine that panic and pandemonium this spring, and summer, when allergies get going full tilt and not every allergy sufferer gets relief from the allergy meds.

Way over the top. They should have flown the flight to destination and arrested the unruly passengers. If you are afraid of Corona, rent a car, wipe it down, and DRIVE!!! PEOPLE COUGH AND SNEEZE YEAR ROUND!!!

Coughs and sneezes spread diseases - unless it's an allergy of course!

Normal, healthy board aircraft every hour. Given the stage length of the flight and the typical the dry cabin air most people will start to sneeze and cough anyway. Influenza & coronavirus is going to play a huge part of how people react. If the cabin crew cannot control the situation, I'm all for landing as soon as practical and offloading the problematic passengers. Now if want to keep people flying during this.......leave every other row and all the middle seats empty. Going to lose a lot of money but better than grounding the whole fleet?

unfortunately, allergy season is in full swing with springtime upon us and things are actually starting to bloom, despite the winter snows.there will be a lot of people doing that who do not have the corona virus, nor a fever..agents and flight attendants cannot be the "medical police",so if you have severe enough allergies to prompt a coughing or sneezing fit, stay away for the airport,as you are bound to have problems with others...

I'm already on Claritin. This is the earliest that I can remember. I just can't wait until the rain storms and resulting mold and other nastiness. YIPPEE! So, I show up with my box of Kleenex, and red eyes, and I'll be shot dead on sight. Yippee...

I was at a conference being given about issues we 'may' face in the future. One was 'pandemics'. The researcher said that there is something out there right now that can, if it gets the right circumstances, can be 'the new plague' and wipe out millions of people.

History ignorant people don't realize that 'The Plague' killed up to 200 million people. It was based on a 'zoonotic' disease that crossed from animals (rats/etc) to humans. That disease IS STILL OUT THERE! There have been cases in Colorado, and clusters of deaths in China.

Anyone with an allergy attack is going to be tossed off a plane. Thank Ford the doors can't be opened in flight.
