F-18 crashes at 'star wars canyon', death valley, Ca
A U.S. Navy F/A-18E Super Hornet jet crashed in Death Valley National Park near Father Crowley Vista Point Wednesday morning, leaving some visitors with minor injuries. My avatar is a photo of a U.S. Navy F/A-18E Super Hornet that I took just 10 feet from the crash site a few months ago. As a Blue and Gold Information Officer for the U.S. Naval Academy with two kids serving in the Navy, my heart goes out to the pilot and his family. I wish them God's blessings, fair winds and a following sea.
