London-Heathrow Records 22 Consecutive Months of Growth
London-Heathrow Airport (LHR) has recorded its 22nd consecutive month of growth, following the 7.5 million passengers that traveled through its terminals in of August. The busiest day for arrivals was recorded on August 31, with 137,303 passengers flowing in through Heathrow. Adding up the departing passengers, London's main hub logged 15 separate days of handling more than 250,000 passengers per day. The airport claims that this rise has come from the new links to China. astonishing how much talking and talking went into the approval of a third runway at heathrow. and left unsaid is how soon a fourth runway would be needed. Some old neighborhoods , roads, and shops will be razed for the overdue third runway. Sorry about the history wonks who hate to see progress or anything like it,and get ready for all the hubbub again soon.
