EgyptAir Domestic Flight Hijacked to Cyprus
EgyptAir flight 181 traveling from Alexandria to Cairo has been hijacked, according to the airline's spokeswoman. The hijackers asked for the flight to land in Cyprus, said the spokeswoman, who asked not to be identified in line with company policy. Its almost sad that in this day and age, a hijacker who was not intent on killing all on board ( or at least seems to have not wanted to as he released most after landing) almost feels like good news compared to the story we come to expect post 9/11. Lets hope that the crew and remaining pax are released with out any further conflict or any injury and loss of life.
