An E-2C Hawkeye is launched from the deck of the USS George H. W. Bush on Wednesday, Jun 18, 2014. The USS George H. W. Bush arrived in the Persian Gulf earlier this week, amid rising sectarian violence in Iraq. The carrier was dispatched to the region by President Obama as he considers how to respond to the conflict.
