Chilling, thrilling, stressful: Learn to fly a Boeing 737 in Bangkok
Bangkok's new flight simulator lets wannabe pilots feel what it's like to take off and land one of the world's most popular passenger aircraft (www.cnngo.com) Más...Sort type: [Top] [Newest]
Don't worry if you are an airbus fan. There is a super video on youtube on how to steal an A320 "Airbus A320 - From Cold and Dark to Ready for Taxiing"
I would not want the public Neanderthal paws on my hardware. Let em book a lesson on a C152 like we all did. This is like one of those Japanese love dolls..ersatz.

yeah then all terrorists would have to do would get into an ATC center and press that button instead of going thru the trouble of airport security and breaking thru a reinforced cockpit door
I've been in one of these in Australia, they said that they do simulations with current pilots with Qantas and Virgin, however, I could not log any hours or instructional time, it wasn't a designated simulator. To be honest, the flight decks are a little more fancy than a Cessna, but the way I remember the principle is about the same as a small airplane. Takeoff was easy, staying level required you to be on top of the trim and have a feel of the plane, approach was the hardest, that's the main difference, you can easily get behind the airplane, it was hard to slow the plane down for the approach, not sure if that's true in real life. Landing itself with practice, you can get it if you re good at video games. This was VFR of course. You learn the basics at a flight school and with a GPS.
sounds like fun to me
