Lufthansa to debut 747-8 Intercontinental on Washington route

Boeing and Lufthansa announced the acceptance of the first 747-830i has taken place and the aircraft will be flown to Frankfurt May1/2.

We're getting the 380 down at IAH August 1st. I wish it was the 748.

I would be interesting to see the % of capacity these large planes are running to really see if the 380 is truly efficient... I see the 747, 777, 787 being the leaders to capture the revenue.. The 380 pulled out of SFO for a couple months and it was not because of the cracks...
