Everett or North Charleston: Which 787 assembly line should Boeing close?
The aircraft is now produced in Everett and also at its new plant in the state of South Carolina where employees are not union members (www.airway1.com) Más...Sort type: [Top] [Newest]
Didnt think that Everett was set up for the -10 so seems like there is an easy choice there if and when its needed. LOL another Troll post I see.
It's a potential double-whammy for Everett. Emirates wants to switch a large portion of their 150-airframe 777X order to the 787-10. It would ensure a steady workload for South Carolina but leave Everett idle.
As I understand it, the FAA has some limit on the size of individual cargo "pieces" that prevents the Dreamlifter from carrying -10 fuselage sections. They'd fit, just not legally.
close them both. there are plenty of grounded aircraft already. go greyhound.
Greyhound doesnot do so well crossing large bodies of water.....or are you a flat-Earther?
