Surely it must be illegal to deceive passengers in this way. I suppose Ryanair can call an aircraft anything it likes, but this is a deliberate attempt to disguise the fact that it is a B737-Stall.

Sounds like "badge engineering" to try to salvage a reputation. No-one would be stupid enough to fly an aircraft subject to a worldwide grounding notice with just a name change ??

Err - wanna bet? It will be fascinating to see how Boeing's marketing teams respond to this challenge - and the corporate bonuses paid when the advertising bears fruit.

Ryanair cannot afford to have one of these drop out of the sky post-reinstatement. Think of the circumstances - the world's worst-reputation airline (for customer service) is no longer annoying its customers, but killing them.... It would spell the end, even of Ryanair.

Therefore, I would be confident that Ryanair will eventually fly the rebranded (and thoroughly re-rested and re-certified) MAX. They are still a lousy airline and I would never use them - the old reputation for c**p customer service shines through!
