Given the outcome, what a great thing to happen to the pilot early in his career. Only an "A1" real event like this will truly give you an idea of how you will perform when the chips are down.
These cut backs are really going too far. It wont be long before they send him up with one wing. But on a serious note, well done to the pilot. I wonder how the instructor felt.
Props to the new pilot's flight instructor, too!
Now thats "flying by the seat of your pant's" and have the FAA examiner with you when it happens .. what are the odds of that ?
