While most Thanksgiving travelers will fight for overhead bins and go hours without a snack or room to stretch their legs, life in first class is stress free. It's always been a special place on the other side of the curtain. Now, it's getting even cushier. I fly a fair amount of domestic First, and don't see any sundaes. More often I'm told they have run out of my meal choice. "Enjoy the cereal. The eggs are gone". For domestic carriers, it continues to be a race to the bottom. As for coach, they've figured that the more miserable they can make the experience, the greater the opportunity to charge for things like reserved seats, early boarding, etc. As customers, we have let them get away with this. Nobody else to blame.

LOL, you get what you pay for... Pay for 1st class, get 1st class. Give me a break. If you are too cheap to pay for first class, don't expect to get 1st class service.

Good for the first class! They deserve it for what they pay. :)

Kind of misleading, it starts out with, "While most Thanksgiving travelers will fight for overhead bins and go hours without a snack or room to stretch their legs, life in first class is stress free."

Most Thanksgiving travel is domestic, whereas the article is describing the business/first class products offered on long-haul international routes. Life in domestic first class is hardly anything to write about.
