Tolmachevo airport served 5.4 Million passengers from Jan to Nov

From January to November Tolmachevo airport in Novosibirsk served 5,441,355 passengers (+18.7%). The number of passengers on domestic air routes amounted to 3,946,664 (+21%), that on international ones was 1,494,691 (+12.9%).

In November passenger traffic of Tolmachevo airport amounted to 460,276 people, having increased by 13.4% compared to the figure of 2017. 329,609 passengers (+17.3%) were served on domestic routes, 130,667 (+4.5%) were served on international ones.

Chelyabinsk (+114.9%), Perm (+100%), Khanty-Mansiysk (+94.2%), Blagoveshchensk (+81.5%), Omsk (+73.5%) became the most dynamic destinations in November on domestic air routes compared to the same period last year. Phu Quoc (+139.9%), Shanghai (+111.9%), Prague (+109.2%), Seoul (+73.2%), Tbilisi (+64.3%) - on the international ones. Meanwhile, Moscow, Yekaterinburg, St. Petersburg, Khabarovsk, Yakutsk, Bangkok, Phuket, Osh and Tashkent became the most popular destinations in November among passengers.

We remind that in November Ural Airlines airline company resumed flights to Ordos and Alrosa airline company resumed flights to Pevek.

Since the beginning of the year the airport has served 26,941 air sorties (+17.8% versus the same period last year) and 2,393 air sorties (+9.7%) were served in November.

Following the results of eleven months, the number of transfer passengers of the airport increased by 35% compared to the same period last year. Their share in total passenger traffic was 23%.

Over 11 months of 2018 the cargo traffic of Tolmachevo airport increased by 9% compared to the figure of 2017 and amounted to 28,517 tons, including 3,077 tones of cargo and mail (+6.4%) in November.

Novosibirsk International Airport Tolmachevo is the largest air hub east of the Urals on the main air routes between Europe and Asia. The capacity of domestic terminal makes up to 1,800 passengers per hour, and international terminal capacity is 1,300 passengers per hour. The airport has two runways of ICAO I and II categories.
