American Airlines passengers taking some flights from New York to Chicago will soon get an added perk: free wine and beer.
The complimentary alcohol will be available in the main cabin on 15 shuttle fights between LaGuardia Airport and O'Hare International Airport, the airline said in a statement Thursday.
Travelers can begin drinking for free April 4.
American already offers 15 flights per day between the two airports -- now they'll have dedicated gates.
Free beer and wine is already available on flights between LaGuardia and Reagan National in Arlington, Va., as well as between LaGuardia and Logan International in Boston.
In addition, American announced it is adding new routes from LaGuardia, John F. Kennedy and Philadelphia airports this year.
Flights will be added this year between JFK and Denver as well as between JFK and Philadelphia. There will also be flights between LaGuardia and both Portland, Maine, and Traverse City, Mich.
Philadelphia is adding flights to the following cities:
- Budapest, Hungary
- Des Moines, Iowa
- Fort Wayne, Indiana
- Madison, Wisconsin
- Oklahoma City
- Omaha, Nebraska
- Pensacola, Florida
- Prague, Czech Republic
- San Antonio
- Zurich, Switzerland
