Only registered users (free) can review FBOs. Please login or register todayWe flew through Lawton today without high expectations. We were directed to LaSill FBO by the tower when we landed. We were marshalled in by Tyler, who promptly asked what he could do for us and if we needed fuel. Once inside the FBO, we were greeted by the owner and Kim. We mentioned that we were looking for a place to have breakfast, and they promptly handed us the keys to the courtesy car and gave directions to a nearby restaurant. The service was simply incredible, and the employees are top-notch. They know how to deliver on service here. Thanks to all of you guys! Made our trip to Lawton simply perfect! Piper Cherokee |

I have stopped here many times for fuel and have always had an incredible experience. They track inbound flights on FlightAware and are waiting for you with the fuel truck running. A spartan facility, but you get what you need -- and fast. Thanks, guys! Cessna Citation CJ1 |

This FBO has all the amenities and services you find in a fancy FBO, without the extra fees and fuel cost! Know I know why so many people stop here for fuel on their way across the country. My aircraft had a minor issue here once, and Chris Pittman got to my airplane immediately, fixed the problem, and got me on my way in minimal time. The fuel guys are meticulous in putting a protective rubber mat around the filler holes, grounding the a/c correctly, and squeezing every bit of fuel possible into the tank (if you asked for a top-off).

Stopped in KLAW after Thanksgiving 2010. LaSill FBO services were great, fuel, help with rental car, helped load luggage and took us to terminal to pickup rental and took rental car back for us. A wonderful experience with great people. Beechcraft Sierra |

Review Lawton Aviation Services this is no longer LASILL.....
So as I enter my 27th year as a professional pilot I am finally sitting down at my computer to leave my 1st ever negative review of an FBO. I and my wife visited Lawton Aviation Services on August 29th. Upon arrival my arrival I was greeted and chocked. My Enterprise car had been delivered for me and my wife to attend my daughters Nursing School Convocation at OU, all seems well.
I tell the line guys thanks and that even though I need nothing in my S550 as we only had a 27 minute flight from Ft. Worth, that "I would be happy to buy 100 gallons Jet A just to nice." They seemed agreeable and I told em my departure plans of about 8:30PM They told they closed and 8:00PM and there would be a call out fee. So I told them I would advise if I needed to depart after closing. (As apparently they lock everything down in this little airport after 8:00PM in or out)
So I called Lawton Aviation Services at about 7:15PM and advised Andrew, the line guy, that we should arrive for our departure at about 8:10-8:15PM the line guy Andrew seemed fine and said see you soon-no problem. 5 minutes after that call Andrew called me back and said he was very sorry but his boss Kim Hampton said if we arrive to depart any time after 8:00PM he was instructed to charge me a call out fee of $150! Andrew and I had a very cordial conversation about this and I told him I would leave my daughters Convocation early and be there before 8:00PM because I was not about to pay $15 a minute for them to hold the gate open for me. Andrew was very apologetic and understood my frustration. We arrived at 7:56PM closed out our bill and got Andrew to agree to tell his boss Kim Hampton this was the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my aviation career and that I would make sure that our fleet of aircraft from Gulfstreams and Challengers to Citations would ever again buy a single drop of gas from Lawton Aviation Services.
The fleecing of GA and corporate aircraft must stop. As for Andrew he handled his situation as bad as it was very well and was the recipient of my gratitude.
As for Lawton Aviation Services I will tell everyone I know of my worst customer service experience of my career. As for Kim Hampton if this is how you see best to run an FBO I would recommend your owner or city or to whom ever employs you to highly consider a replacement. Cessna Citation II |
