This Curtiss aircraft was built as a P-40M-10-CU Warhawk and assigned USAAF s/n 43-5795 then later transferred to the RCAF in 1943.

From Joe Baugher's published information regarding this aircraft:

"5795 (MSN 27483) to RCAF as Kittyhawk IV 845 Feb 5, 1943. SOC Aug 23, 1946. To civil registry as NX1232N and restored."
