Lightning within 10...hit the den...I don't know about MKCO but at KBUF we cease all operations when lightning is within 10 miles...most airports are within 5 miles normally for lightning

Actually Yes Our System or I should Say Airport is Between 8 miles range for Lighting Alert to close our operation.

we lost a fueler about 15 years ago to a strike, that's why they changed it here to 10...
