Nice photo Bill! One of my favorite aircraft!
Makes me long for the "good ole days". I last flew this aircraft in Jan 1984 out of Bitburg Germany. She is still a beautiful aircraft.

This appears to be a F-15A model based on no conformal fuel tanks?

Robert, this is an F-15C, serial # 78-528. Although the C models have provisions for conformal fuel tanks, I believe they are not used in the air defense mission because it would slightly increase drag and weight, and limit G-load.
