This is an old photo. The tug in the picture is in the livery of Braniff International, which folded 25 years ago.
Neat old photo of the "7 Seas"
This is a DC-7B not a 7C. It says so right on the tail rudder.
The good ol' days!
Berliner tug in foreground reminds me of working for Pan Am at Heathrow Late 60s.
The tag on the right of the scanned picture says JUL 66
Photo has the Jul 66 stamp. 1966.... 55 year old photo. Awesome.
Great old photo: Thanks
Flew on these twice from Lima to Cuzco in 1967. On the first trip the back right door was stuck, after they had loaded lunch boxes. We were going to have to wait to take another plane, but someone on the ground pushed the door closed with a fork lift.
It seemed as though we could reach out and touch the mountains.

July '66 - It says in the edge of the photo
It´s an Douglas DC-7B! B like BRAVO.
Great photo of this DC7B. That leg from sea level Lima across to Cuzco sitting way up at 10,900 feet Field Elev. would have been amazing. Peaks are up to 21,000 feet enroute...
