After the checks were completed and the aircraft landed, I was invited on board for a short tour. I was also shown the equipment that is used to check the ILS system, and I was given an explanation of how it works. I am very appreciative to Ross Larson for the interesting briefing and tour.

U lucky - I remember at SJC early 90s, an FAA 727-1 and Queen Air 90 did similar work on the ILS - I have video of those take offs and landings....more work.!

Pretty close! FAs own registration information says those are CF34 engines, and the large circular inlets with the silver conical exhaust cone at the rear confirm it. CL600s had Lycoming ALF 502 engines that had a pronounced oval-shaped inlet with no silver cone showing. The nacelle at the front extended all the way to the rear of the engine. Also, the vertically flattened tailcone was not a feature on 600s, but only on later 604s and 605s. The winglets were add-ons available to 600s, so that doesn't count.
