With the announcement this morning, watch this space! Will they or won't they be Virgin Australia in future?
Well Gavin, I thought they would save Ansett,all those years ago But,no. don't hold out much hope for Virgin.
I'm still getting used to an A320 being in the classic VA livery...
Yes Brett, interesting times ahead. SO FAR at least, it seems there will still be a second carrier, i.e. 'Virgin' should be 'saved', but whether or not it carries the VA name will be interesting. You'd wonder if the name has low appeal that a new name would emerge. Let's hope we do retain the second carrier no matter what name.
Chris...I've seen them a couple of times here, but I've only ever been able to photograph one - VH-VNP.
Gavin...It is definitely is interesting time for the airline industry, personally I would be glad to see the Virgin brand gone, as the name has never appealed to me.Would like to see something like Australian airlines,something more Australian.
Thanks Gavin. Speaking of your photographing A320 VNP, I flew on her as a pax when she was in Tiger livery a couple of years back.
Chris...luckily I have a couple of pics of it in Tiger Airways livery but only near head on shots of it taking off from Adelaide in 2014.
