RCAF plans flypast spectacular for Canada Day 2017
On July 1, 2017, Canada’s Air Force plans to fly up to 39 vintage and current military aircraft over Parliament Hill, as part of our nation’s 150th birthday celebrations. It may well rank as the Royal Canadian Air Force’s (RCAF’s) largest flypast since the end of the Second World War. As well, in response to community requests, the RCAF has scheduled flypasts at about 60 other locations nationwide during Canada Day. (www.skiesmag.com) Más...Sort type: [Top] [Newest]
It never happened. Weather was miserable on July 1st. But there was a good fly over on July 2nd. Never saw the Lancaster. but there were The Snowbirds, CF18 Demo, Hercules, Aurora, 2 Hawks (1 RAF, 1 RCAF), a couple of Army choppers, the Chinook, a Cormorant, and two vintages from Vintage Wings, not sure which ones.
I had the pleasure of working with the gentleman of 188785 and 776 while having a fuel stop in CYYC part ways through their Alberta adventure
