Former Navy aircraft lands without wheels (Crash Landing Video)
A former Royal Navy aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing at RNAS Yeovilton, UK, on May 28, after a hydraulics failure of the landing gear. The aircraft circled around to burn up fuel then made a belly landing. (www.accuweather.com) Más...Sort type: [Top] [Newest]
I find it fascinating that the pilot ejected once the plane was down, and yet the plane continued WAAAAAAAY down the runway, minus pilot, and yet it didn't wreck, or catch fire. Amazingly great job!!!!
Did the pilot eject? Or did he just pop the canopy?
Sure looks like a white helmet still with the aircraft. I'd say just the canopy.
